The Detroit Triumph Sports Car Club
2008 Fall Color Tour
Sunday October 12th, 2008
Starting 10:30 AM
56050 Eight Mile Road, Northville,
MI
It's much too soon to put away
your LBC. And besides, the leaves of our state will be turning colors
soon which will set the stage for a scenic drive in something British
before getting out the car covers, jack stands and Stabil. Though
many of us continue to drive our cars well into the fall the Fall
Colour Tour is typically the last official drive program hosted
by DTSC every year.
The date for this year's Fall Colour Tour is Sunday, October 12.
We will meet at the home of Roger Cotting and Elizabeth, 56050 Eight
Mile Road, Northville, MI - 248-486-6-87, at 10:30 a.m. where participants
will receive route instructions. We will depart Roger's house promptly
at 11:00 a.m. The first stop will be at a nearby cider mill for
refreshments. Later on the tour there will be a stop at an ice cream
shop and lots of scenic rural roads for your enjoyment. We anticipate
arriving at our destination, Mac's Restaurant in Salline, at about
4:00 p.m. The route, established this year by Bill Goin, is about
90 miles long.
Also, as has become a tradition over the past few years of the Fall
Colour Tour, we anticipate members of several LBC clubs in Southeast
Michigan and Windsor, Canada, to join us for what we anticipate
will be an enjoyable drive in the country with our British and non-British
cars.
Mark your calendars.
